Directions for Use
(1) Use 3% of the weight of the cooking oil as the standard amount of the Oil Solidifier (approximately 30 g per 1 L of oil [900 g]).
One 500 g bag can solidify approximately 17 L of cooking oil. For lard, use 6%.
(2) After cooking, turn off the heat and immediately add the Oil Solidifier.
(Melts at an oil temperature of 80°C or higher.)
(3) Stir thoroughly until the solidifier is evenly mixed throughout the oil.
(4) Leave it undisturbed for a while. (The solidification time varies depending on the room temperature and the amount of oil.)
(5) The oil begins to solidify when its temperature falls below 40°C, and then forms a gel.
(6) Once the oil has completely gelled, remove it using a spatula or similar utensil.
(7) Dispose of it as combustible waste.
Precautions for Use
● Always turn off the heat before using the Oil Solidifier.
● If too little Oil Solidifier is used for the amount of oil, the oil may not solidify completely. Adjust the amount according to the volume of oil.
● Even after the oil has solidified, it may melt again at temperatures above 50°C. It will solidify again as the temperature decreases.
● If the oil does not solidify or if you are treating cold oil, add an appropriate amount of Oil Solidifier first, heat the oil while stirring well, and turn off the heat only after confirming that the Oil Solidifier has completely dissolved.
● Do not use oil containing the Oil Solidifier for frying food.
● This product is not food. Do not eat it.
● Do not use this product for any purpose other than those specified above.
Fire Hazard Warning
● Do not leave the area while heating oil. If you must leave, be sure to turn off the heat.
● Overheating oil may cause a fire.
